Having been recently appointed as Design Lead for my student-led research group Computer Systems Genome, I have taken the initiative to redesign our website while creating a collaborative design system from the ground up to promote consistency in our components, in both design and development.

A case study addressing the issues and limitations of the current Virginia Tech Dining Services ticket system, and the introduction and thorough design process of a medium-fidelity prototype of a digital ticket system that would improve the workflow of VT Dining Services.

Over the Summer of 2022, I worked at Berkley Alternative Markets Tech as a Product Management and UX Design Intern. During this time I underwent training in Figma and UX Design and Research, with a focus on designing an insurance user portal.  I worked with other UX Designers, Brand Managers, Product Managers, and Developers to create well researched designs for components that mimic the structure of how these components would be created during development.
